Your guide to the local wineries of the Fresno countryside.

 

Discover the magnificent wineries of the Fresno area including the Madera wineries, wine tasting, and winery events.  Local Fresno wines are quickly gaining in popularity, and demand for the wine produced by these small boutique wineries in the Fresno area is growing at an astonishing pace.  Fresno county and the Central Valley has long been know as the largest producer of California wines, now the recognition is pointing towards the award winning wines produced by these small wineries in the Fresno - Madera countryside. 

The Madera Vintners Association sponsors the Madera Wine Trail three times a year, and although the Fresno wineries are not part of Madera Vintners Association most of the Fresno wineries are open the same hours for those wishing to start or end there Madera Wine Trail wine tasting adventures at one of the Fresno wineries.  You don't have to wait for these special wine tasting weekends, most wineries are open every weekend, and several are open for wine tasting during the week.

 

So step inside and discover the award winning wines from Fresno, and the Fresno area.

8 Fresno County wineries will be pouring their best wines, serving upsome great food, as well as other entertainment for one truly uncorked weekend. 

Start at any participating winery, and taste at your own pace.  Visit as many or as few as you like.  Passports are good all weekend so take your time and visit some on Saturday and the rest on Sunday.  Wine is ment to be relaxing not taxing.

For only $15 you will receive a souvenir wine glass as well a passport to get you into the largest wine event of Fresno County.   

 

Stock up on some great wine deals for the coming holiday season, or just restock the wine rack for those special dinners, or a great show on the tube.  Whatever the reason do not miss this fun filled weekend, it only comes around twice a year, and you would have to wait until March before the next one. 

Although if you do prefer a slower pace, most of the wineries are open for tasting every weekend without the food or entertainment.
